Signing in on the website

On the website you sign in with an email address and a password. You can also sign in with a Google account, and that is the short way: it needs no password, and the address arrives already verified.

If you registered with an email and a password, a confirmation email is sent to you. Until you confirm the address you cannot sign in with it and a password. You can ask for the confirmation email again from the settings page.

The password is at least eight characters. If you forgot it, there is a reset link on the sign-in page, and it sends you a recovery email.

You can change your password from your account settings. Changing the password signs out every other session on the account, so a device you forgot about is disconnected.

Signing in in the app

There is no password in the app. You enter an email address, and a code is sent to it. You type the code and you are in.

If the code did not arrive, check your spam folder. You can ask for a new code after a short wait, and the button says how many seconds are left. Asking again too quickly is blocked for a while, so it is worth waiting.

Where the continue with Google button is shown, it works too. If it is not on the screen, the code is the way in.

It is the same account as on the website. If you registered on the website with the same email address, the code signs you into that same account, with the same bookings and the same listings.

One account, renter and host

One account does both things. The same person can rent a space and list a space, and there is no separate host account to open.

To publish a listing, you simply start one from the account you already have. In the app that is a button in your profile, and on the website it is the area for your listings.

You do not switch between modes. The same message list, the same bell and the same profile serve both sides. A notification about your listing and a notification about your rental arrive in the same place.

A new listing is reviewed before it appears. If it is rejected, you receive the reason in writing.

Editing your profile

Your profile holds a display name and a phone number. You edit both from account settings on the website, or from the profile screen in the app.

The email address is the address you sign in with, and it is shown to you as read only. You cannot change it from the edit screen.

The phone number is not a way in. It is a way to reach you, and it is released to the other side only after a booking is confirmed. Until then it is yours alone.

A change you save takes effect at once, and is visible in both places: the website and the app read the same profile.

What the display name is used for

The display name is the name the other side sees. It appears in your conversations, and in the notification sent to a host when you book their space.

It is between two and sixty characters. You may leave it empty, but then the host sees a booking with no name, which makes it harder for them to know who is coming.

You do not have to use your full name. It is worth choosing a name a real person will recognise, because that is exactly what you are asked when you meet at the place.

The display name is not an address and not a phone number. Contact details stay hidden until the booking is confirmed.

Changing the language

The app is translated into four languages: Hebrew, English, Arabic and Russian. You choose the language from the profile screen, and the choice is kept on the device.

The change applies at once to every screen, including writing direction: Hebrew and Arabic are written right to left.

The website is written in Hebrew. Account settings on the website show the language the interface is in, and for now there is one option there.

Language is a display preference only. It does not change prices, availability, or what the other side sees.

Deleting your account

Closing an account is done by writing to support. Write to us from the contact page on the website, or from the support screen in the app, and ask for the account to be deleted.

State in your message the email address you sign in with, so we know which account you mean.

There is no way to delete an account from inside the product itself. Writing to support is the way.

Before you write, it is worth finishing or cancelling any open bookings. A confirmed booking is a commitment to another person, and they need to know if it no longer stands.
