Withdrawals and payouts
When your money becomes available, and how a host receives it.
In this topic
Can I withdraw money
The money due to you is paid by bank transfer, once the rental has ended.
The amount transferred is the payment less the 18% platform commission.
A payment refunded to the renter is not included in the amount paid to you.
How a host receives their money
The renter pays Peelpel by card when booking, not you directly.
Peelpel deducts an 18% platform commission and, once the rental ends, pays you the rest by bank transfer. There is no need to agree payment with the renter.
The renter's contact details are released to you the moment the booking closes. Until there is a booking, the conversation is the way to talk.
Bank details and safety
Your bank account details are needed to transfer the money to you, and are used only for that transfer.
We will not ask you for a password, a verification code or card details — not in messages, not by email and not by phone.
If you received such an approach in Peelpel's name, do not answer it and contact us through the contact page.
When is a payout made
Each payment becomes available for transfer the moment the rental it paid for ends. For a monthly rental, at the end of each paid month.
The clearing days exist because during that time the payment is still being processed by the clearing company, and can still be cancelled or refunded.
The payout is made by bank transfer to your account.
Can a renter skip paying
No. A booking closes only after the payment has gone through, so there is no active booking that has not been paid.
If a renter offers to pay you outside Peelpel, refuse. Such a payment is not part of the booking and is not protected.
If the conduct calls for us to handle it, contact us through the contact page with the details of the booking.
